What are your ideal job seekers really wanting for themselves? What are their underlying motivations? Whether it’s flexibility, work life balance, purpose driven work, or long-term growth, understanding what motivates these job seekers will assist them to know their objectives are being heard and therefore leading to them to envisage a future with your organisation.
What Sets You Apart?
Take some time to share and communicate what’s unique about your business. Simply reading out your mission statement isn’t going to cut it! The best talent want to know what it’s like to work in your business, who are the people they’re working alongside and what type of culture they’d be stepping into. Be genuine, give examples and open the floor for questions to give job seekers the opportunity to connect with you and your business. And remember, if they seem like a good fit, lock in the next steps quickly (before someone else does!)
