About Us
People2people are currently working with an Australian dedicated exporting company with their head office situated in Mt Gambier, SA. Our client offers a wide range of products and services building on their skills and experience in timber processing operations in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the America's and an extensive network within the industry. The company's core expertise include shipping softwood from those four regions – Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the America's - to Asia. About the role
A full-time permanent Accountant based in head office Mt Gambier, SA. This position offers a unique opportunity to support and contribute to the financial operations of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of financial and administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Working with GST and business portals
- Cash flow forecasting in various currencies
- Assets register and depreciation
- Stock take control
- Reconciliations
Qualifications and Skills
- Commercial or related Accounting/Finance degree or formal training
- MYOB Acumatica and Excel (Intermediate - Advanced)
- Experience with industry specific proprietary software
- 2-3 years experience
