Finance Systems Specialist

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Systems Analyst to join their finance team on a temporary basis to help provide strategic advice on systems and technology issues and their impact on teams across the organisation. This role is a 6-month temp assignment with view for extension, you will also enjoy a 2-3 days WFH. 

The Role

• Analyse and enhance financial systems, focusing on improving the overall functionality and accuracy of the financial reporting processes
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Implement system configurations, troubleshoot, and maintain financial software to ensure smooth operations
• Develop and maintain financial data integration's between different business systems
• Provide expert support and training to teams on financial systems functionality and best practices

About You 

• Proven experience as a Finance System Analyst, preferably in the insurance sector
• Strong understanding of TechnologyOne financial solutions
• Experience with business process analysis and translating requirements into system specifications
• Highly developed communication skills
• Document business requirements for review
• Develop and update training material 
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, IT or related field
