The Role
The Team Leader will play a key leadership role in ensuring operational efficiency and supporting legal and administrative teams. Core responsibilities include:

• Managing a team of 10-15 administrative staff, ensuring optimal performance, engagement, and professional growth.
• Setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Allocating resources to meet practice group needs while maintaining high service quality.
• Leading initiatives for process improvement and championing new tools and services.
• Acting as a liaison between the practice group and business services, including IT, facilities, and HR.
• Overseeing recruitment, performance management, and career development for support staff.
• Supporting partners with stakeholder engagement and operational metrics.

• Prior legal experience, preferably with a background as a Legal Assistant.
• Proven experience managing a team of 10-15 staff members.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience managing performance, coaching, and conducting career and remuneration discussions.
• HR experience or a blend of legal support and HR skills is highly desirable.
• Resilient, professional, and capable of handling sensitive situations with empathy and a collaborative approach.
• Impeccable attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to maintain calm under pressure and navigate complex workplace dynamics effectively.
