Legal Secretary/Assistant

THE ROLE:
As a Legal Assistant, this opportunity will see you carrying out the following duties on a day-to-day basis within their Defendant Insurance team:
- Deliver high quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines, responding to change and competing priorities
- Manage files end to end
- Answer phone calls within the team when team members are unavailable and take detailed and accurate messages
- Coordinate detailed travel arrangements including itineraries, meeting requirements and appropriate visa documentation if required
- Assist with billing in a timely manner
- Provide general administrative support to the Sydney Office
ABOUT YOU:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- 2 years previous experience within Insurance.
- Ability to sustain high level performance, problem solve and meet deadlines autonomously
- Effective time management, planning and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing schedules and priorities
- Proficiency with iManage and Expert
- A 'can do' approach, with the ability to learn/pick up things quickly
