Management Accountant / analyst

This well established, services business, operating across Australia and overseas, is seeking a commercial focused corporate analyst / finance analyst. The business has gone through several changes in recent years, including new system improvements and business initiatives and requires a diligent, commercial corporate analyst to support the future strategic direction of the team.

The role
The position requires someone who is happy to work under their own steam, able to liaise between operations and finance, and be able to be the link between finance and strategy. The role offers a good range of commercial decision making, high level responsibilities, and high profile where you can really make a difference. You will provide general support to the operational managers in terms of budgeting and forecasting and play a pro-active role in understanding key customer profitability, margins, and high level of support to the operational team. Future potential acquisitions, due diligence and required integration will also be part of your responsibilities.

The Candidate
You will be a qualified accountant (CA/CPA) and able to liaise across all levels of departments, drive financial performance, and drive initiatives. A background in corporate finance, business partnering, or strong modelling skills will be highly desirable in this forward looking position.
