Payroll Officer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to support their mission to grow, ensuring resources and support reach more of those in need.
 
About the role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the primary responsibilities of the role include:

• Accurate and timely full function processing of the payroll across multiple entities  
• Processing of overtime hours, allowances, and deductions
• Preparation of payroll reports
• Reconciliation and lodgment of superannuation, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and STP reporting
• Processing of terminations and redundancies
• Assisting with all Payroll related queries
• Assisting with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks within the scope of the role.

• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing
• Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and statutory requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
• Strong time management and ability to work autonomously
• Experience using Pronto will be highly advantageous and confident using Microsoft Excel
• A proactive and positive attitude.
