Senior Financial Accountant – SAP Expertise & Global Financial Reporting
Are you an experienced finance professional with strong SAP skills and a background in working for global organisations? We’re looking for a Senior Financial Accountant
to join our team, reporting to the Finance Director ANZ, to take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement across the organisation and its subsidiaries.
About the Role
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance with global standards. Your expertise in SAP and experience with multinational businesses will enable you to drive efficiencies and maintain the highest level of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports in line with US GAAP and AIFRS requirements.
- Manage month-end and quarterly financial reporting processes.
- Prepare and review consolidated statutory financial statements.
- Utilise SAP/BI reporting systems to streamline financial data and reporting processes.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and multi-currency accounting.
- Support compliance by preparing tax returns, FBT returns, and BAS submissions.
- Actively participate in internal and external audits.
- Conduct system and internal control reviews, documenting policies and procedures.
- Lead system development projects, including defining specifications, testing, and implementing SAP enhancements.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the group, both locally and globally.
- CA/CPA Qualified professional with extensive financial reporting experience.
- Proficiency in SAP/BI reporting systems, with a focus on process optimisation and automation.
- Strong experience working within a global organisation, including multi-currency accounting exposure.
- Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and AIFRS standards.
- Advanced Excel skills and exceptional analytical capabilities.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a broad accounting role.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
