Meet Elly

People's Choice Finalist

Meet Elly

Breed: Pitbull x

Barking from: Auckland

What's up dog?

Elly is 14 years old and has just about reached the end of life, she's now suffering and not moving much but she has had heaps of fun stories to share. Being a pitbull has always made things hard for her because people assume she is vicious but she wouldn't hurt a fly. Fir the first maybe 6 years of her life she had separation anxiety and used to eat and chew everything she could find! Once we found a whole feather duvet cover chewed up all over the house, another time it was all the books from the book shelf! She must have chewed up about 10 sky remotes! But she loves cats and her bestie is our black and white cat Panda. She is soft and gentle and very happy when sleeping on the bed between the humans and on the couch. She has had a full life from living in Wanamaker to ohakune to Auckland! She hasn't got much more time left on this earth so please let's Celebrate her. It's not fair to judge the breed of a dog. We need to show the world that this breed can be the most loyal and loving breed you could wish for.
