What's up dog?

KitKat is both the naughtiest and cuddliest of my three dogs. She is well known for jumping on my lap in the middle of Teams (zoom) meetings and entertaining my work colleagues. She also likes to œtalk to anyone getting their mail from the letterboxes on my boundary. This area happens to be visible in the background of my on camera meetings, and there are often comments about her letterbox policing behaviour.

Fun fact - KitKat is lucky enough to compete in dog agility. Not so lucky (for me) is that she loves to give me a little nip if Im not running fast enough for her¦

Despite all the mischievous behaviour, she is an absolute cuddles who loves nothing more than pats and cuddles from anyone! She is very important to my mental health and I wouldnt be without her.

This year, we wanted to give the aroha back to our communities.


Every year, our campaign is supported and celebrated by a variety of incredible charities across Aotearoa, all of whom mahi tirelessly to make a positive impact for dogs in their respected communities.


This year, the winner of the 2024 People Choice's Award will have the value of their doggy prize pack matched and donated to a charity of their choosing.


In addition, every voter will have the opportunity to donate towards one of the 3 incredbile mental health charities or dog organisations.
