Meet Luna

People's Choice Finalist

Meet Luna

Breed: Mixed breed

Barking from: Auckland

What's up dog?

Luna exudes positivity from the moment she wakes up, until shes curled up ready for nighttime snuggles. She gets us outside first thing and we always feel better for it! Weve always been outdoorsy people, but since she came along we walk, hike and holiday in places we wouldnt normally go which has been an awesome way to explore more of Aotearoa.

Training hasnt always been easy but weve loved the journey. Shes taught us patience, resilience and to celebrate the small wins. Shes come so far - and its reminded us how consistent, hard work pays off!

Lunas impact goes beyond our home. Twice a week, Luna goes to the office with dog dad. She lights up everyones day and acts as a funny icebreaker when greeting clients, going into œmiddle when they arrive. When were out, shes a bridge between people - we might find ourselves chatting with people we never otherwise would have spoken to.

Luna reminds us to live life in the present and enjoy the simple things. Whether that be getting outside, meeting new people or cleaning the last of the meat juices off a tray, although well just take her word on that one!
