What's up dog?

Helped with my depression, after losing my dog Mika suddenly to a heart attack I was beside myself. My husband and I had a joke between us about naming a dog "Spudd" when my dog Mika died suddenly I was crying constantly, my husband suggested that I should look for a puppy to distract from the pain, he gave me a hug one night while I was cooking dinner and said "we will find another dog, we will find you a "Spud". That very night after dinner I found a puppy named "Spuddy " advertised on Trademe in a town close to us, I called them immediately and said "you have my puppy " "you have my Spud" he has been my best friend from the moment I picked him up!

This year, we wanted to give the aroha back to our communities.


Every year, our campaign is supported and celebrated by a variety of incredible charities across Aotearoa, all of whom mahi tirelessly to make a positive impact for dogs in their respected communities.


This year, the winner of the 2024 People Choice's Award will have the value of their doggy prize pack matched and donated to a charity of their choosing.


In addition, every voter will have the opportunity to donate towards one of the 3 incredbile mental health charities or dog organisations.
