What's up dog?

Maverick is amazing, as always . Over the last year he's held his own with his condition, microvascular dysplasia and he's fighting fit .

He celebrated his 7th birthday this year and isn't showing any signs of slowing down.

Maverick is amazing with unwell and injured people , especially children. He loves special needs kids most ! But my favourite thing he's done over the last year is help my mother who has dementia remember her world outside the walls of the care facility as we bring her home for lunch weekly. He adores her and makes her happy , gets her mind working and sits beside her in her wheelchair each visit .

Also he has come to detect when I am getting a migraine and alerts me by laying across my head at night so I know to take medicine.

He's more than a dog and a companion. He's a clever doctor dog , nurse dog and my absolute best friend
