Our beloved Savvy is the best family dog, she has shown an incredible gentleness, patience, and a natural affinity for bonding with our children and family. Her nurturing presence makes her a strong candidate for this recognition, reflecting her role as a cherished sibling figure in our family's life. Savvy is exactly what a family dog should be.

Particularly heartwarming is the bond between our son and Savvy, who are just 5 months apart in age. They've grown up together, sharing playful moments and forming a unique friendship that enriches our family every day. The joy and love they bring to each other daily is something from a movie.

I am applying Savvy for top dog NZ as she is the perfect example of a family dog. The love and joy she brings each day is unmatched.

This year, we wanted to give the aroha back to our communities.


Every year, our campaign is supported and celebrated by a variety of incredible charities across Aotearoa, all of whom mahi tirelessly to make a positive impact for dogs in their respected communities.


This year, the winner of the 2024 People Choice's Award will have the value of their doggy prize pack matched and donated to a charity of their choosing.


In addition, every voter will have the opportunity to donate towards one of the 3 incredbile mental health charities or dog organisations.
