What's up dog?
Sizzler had a disc explode in her back in August last year which left her hind legs paralysed. She had major surgery which took the pressure off her spinal cord but still left her unable to walk. In the last 11 months she has slowly been regaining the use of her legs with the encouragement from her dog park friends, she has progressed from using a wheel chair at Christmas to walking albeit a bit drunkenly to see her friends in the dog park each night show determination and resilience which fills people’s hearts with love and adoration for such a pluck determined little soul!

This year, we wanted to give the aroha back to our communities.
Every year, our campaign is supported and celebrated by a variety of incredible charities across Aotearoa, all of whom mahi tirelessly to make a positive impact for dogs in their respected communities.
This year, the winner of the 2024 People Choice's Award will have the value of their doggy prize pack matched and donated to a charity of their choosing.
In addition, every voter will have the opportunity to donate towards one of the 3 incredbile mental health charities or dog organisations.
