Top Office Dog Finalist

Meet Tana

Breed:  Wheaten terrier Labrador

Barking from:  Wellington

What's up dog?

Tana, the office dog at Optimal Workshop, has had a great year at work - he creates a positive and uplifting atmosphere for all employees, and also at UXNZ - our annual conference where he works tirelessly as the emotional support dog for all the attendees. As soon as he trots into the office each day, his warm presence instantly brightens everyone's mood. Tana has an uncanny ability to sense when someone needs comfort, and he gladly offers cuddles and gentle nudges to those experiencing stress or difficult moments.

Beyond his role as an emotional support companion, Tana plays a crucial part in fostering a harmonious work environment - He sets a 'goodest-boy' example for other canine visitors to the office. Through his interactions and guidance, he helps teach the other dogs the importance of good behaviour and respect for the workspace, making the office a more welcoming place for all. Tana's role at Optimal Workshop goes beyond being a mere office dog; he is a source of emotional support, a well-behaved role model, and a catalyst for fostering a joyful and collaborative workplace environment. His pawprints are etched into the hearts of everyone at the company.
